WORKBENCH / 03

A place for every carton.

Find a repeatable layer layout. Check height and payload. See how many loading units you need.

01

Your loading space

120 × 80 × 14.4 cm; approximately 25 kg tare; published working load 1,500 kg. The 160 cm total-height limit is a planning input, not an EPAL transport allowance.

Door opening limits Optional

Conservative mode: the entire load stays within the door width and height, not just the inside space.

02

One carton specification

All cartons in this plan have the same dimensions and weight.

Floor rotation is always allowed. Keep side rotation off for upright-only goods.

BEHIND THE NUMBERS

A layout you can inspect.

What the planner tries

Uniform rows and two rectangular sections with different floor rotations. The best supported layer repeats upwards. Side rotation adds possible carton heights when enabled. No overhang, gap or clearance allowance is added automatically.

WORKED EXAMPLE / 120 × 80 CM PALLET

40 × 30 × 25 cm cartons, 10 kg each.
160 cm total height, including 14.4 cm pallet.
8 per layer × 5 layers = 40 cartons

For 100 cartons: 3 pallets, with 20 cartons on the last one. The displayed layout is a geometric planning result, not an optimal packing guarantee or a stacking-strength check. Allow real handling clearance and confirm safe loading separately.
